TractionScout as a whole is free software licensed under the GNU Affero General
Public License, version 3. See LICENSE for the complete terms. Third-party
portions retain their original terms as described below.

TractionScout began as a fork of Mattermost Server. Every source file derived
from Mattermost Server or the Mattermost Web App has since been replaced by an
independent implementation, and this release contains no code derived from
them. The replacement is documented per file in third_party/components.json and
third_party/mattermost/backend-provenance.json; the original license and notice
texts are kept in third_party/mattermost/ as records for earlier revisions of
this repository, which still contain the derived code.

The TractionScout name, word mark, logos, and other brand assets are not
licensed for unrestricted reuse by the GNU AGPL. See TRADEMARKS.md.

Third-party libraries, tools, fonts, and other components remain subject to
their respective copyright notices and license terms. Dependency manifests,
lockfiles, vendored notices, and source-level notices identify those components
and are part of the corresponding source distribution. third_party/components.json
records embedded components and their provenance. third_party/dependencies.json
records resolved dependency metadata; third_party/DEPENDENCY_NOTICES.txt retains
dependency license texts. Packaged releases provide an accompanying
THIRD_PARTY_NOTICES.txt or the third_party directory. Historical upstream notice
lists are preserved for attribution and are not the current dependency inventory.
